I went to a movie with a friend of mine and his girlfriend tonight. It turned out to be a lot of fun. We saw "Batman Begins." It's an awesome movie. It's at least on par with the two Tim Burton Batman movies.
I was a bit worried when I first saw the trailer though. They showed Bruce Wayne in Asia. Why would this concern me? If he trained in Asia, did he succomb to Asian philosophy and religion? This erked me from the moment I noticed the Budda statue in the background.
The answer, by the way, is "no." Instead of dismissing the fate of criminals to fate or karma, Wayne insists upon showing compassion instead of slaughtering those he helps bring to justice. Sorry if I spoiled it for someone, but it's towards the beginning of the movie.
In any case, I finally got my TM Juke CD from England. It's awesome. My mind is running back and forth between Batman and a line from the song "Knee Deep"
"Catching black sheep while I am knee deep in sleep..."
And I believe it's time for me to echo those words. So, I'll leave you with that line and say "goodnight."
