This was quite a weekend.
Friday was great, sort of. I had my philosophy final at 8 am. It was easy. It should have been the last thing I did that day. Then, there was my organic chemistry final. I may as well have had my beefy older brother punch me in the crotch. It would have been more comfortable. I went back to my apartment and celebrated another semester gone by. But, that wasn't the end of my day. I got a letter from a job I had interviewed for informing me that I was rejected. You have to love a letter that just stings your brain and soul. Oh well, the night ended well though. A couple of my friends came over to my apartment and we got Chili's to go. We watched a movie and hung out. It was just what I needed.
Saturday... what the heck DID I do on Saturday? Oh, right. I went to see Sin City with my brother. Geez, I love that movie. It's amazing. Then, I went to a wedding rehearsal, being the in-demand soundguy certainly packs out your schedule. The rehearsal dinner was interesting. The groom's mom pretended to kiss me, mainly to embarrass her son. And boy, that sure did work! My friend Katie showed me this awesome band called "TM Juke." Those guys are dope. I highly recommend checking them out.
Sunday. Mother's day. My little brother, after a discussion about our family's peculiarities, made a startling observation. "In our family, everyday is freaking mother's day." Right on, my friend. Right on. My mom actually didn't feel up to doing anything. So, we went to lunch with the other mother's in the family... my two aunts, my grandmother, and my sister-in-law. It made for an interesting time. I also found out that my cousin is engaged to this guy who is nice, but really goofy. I'm still trying to decide if I approve.
Sunday pt II. The wedding. It was interesting. I ran sound. I DJ'd. I was on my feet from 4 o'clock until about 9:45. I thought I might have a chance to eat something at the reception. No sir. Oh well, the whole thing wasn't about me anyway, right?
Monday. I woke up late. I stayed in my pajamas until I went to work out at 6:45pm. My roommate and I cooked Puerco Pibil. It turned out to be awesome. I was proud. I also bought the TM Juke CD. I was bored, what can I say?
Dassit...
Peace to the few who ever look at this.

I had a great time with you this weekend, lil brudder. It was awesome to watch you at the rehearsal and the wedding. You were on top of things. Large. And in charge. The man of the hour. The man that all the ladies wanted to kiss. But I digress... Sorry I couldn't make it for puerco. Is there any left?
